Muslim and Arab men are being asked to register with the U.S. government. And by "asked," I mean forced, under threat of imprisonment. This isn't because they're criminals, or even because they're immigrants. In many cases, they are motherfucking U.S. citizens.
Luckily, the FBI has finally found the U.S. Bill of Rights. No word yet on whether or not they're actually going to fucking enforce it.
Correction (3/20/03): No registration of U.S. citizens is actually occuring; the program extends only to immigrants. I misinterpreted a sentence from the article.
